1. Account Registration & Security

• You may create an account to save your gameplay progress and participate in global leaderboards.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Player nicknames must not contain offensive, abusive, hateful, or infringing language. We reserve the right to modify inappropriate nicknames or suspend non-compliant accounts without prior notice.

2. Fair Play & Prohibited Activities

Fair competition is essential. You agree not to:

• Exploit cheats, automation tools, bots, or unauthorized third-party software to alter game mechanics or artificially manipulate scores.
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or database infrastructure of the Game.
• Engage in any behavior that disrupts the gameplay experience for other players.
• Sending spam invitations to other players, harassing others by abusing social features, or attempting to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. In such cases, players reserve the right to block and report one another.
• Violation of these rules may result in immediate score forfeiture, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.

3. In-App Purchases (No-Ads / Digital Items)

• The Game may offer optional digital purchases, such as a “No Ads” option to remove advertisements.
• All payment transactions and billing are processed exclusively through the respective platform provider (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
• Refund requests, billing disputes, and payment terms are governed strictly by the applicable policies of Apple or Google. Digital items are non-transferable and have no real-world monetary value.

4. Intellectual Property

• All assets within Run the Stairs—including visual designs, characters, audio, gameplay mechanics, trademarks, and codebase—are the proprietary property of NextXP Studios.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the Game without prior written permission.

5. Service Updates & Availability

• The original game concept, branding, custom code, and content created by NextXP Studios are the proprietary property of NextXP Studios.
• Certain visual assets, UI components, sound effects, audio tracks, and software libraries used within the Game are incorporated under valid commercial or open-source licenses granted by third-party creators, development tools (including Lovable), and licensors, and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
• You may not decompile, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any assets from the Game without prior authorization.

6. Limitation of Liability

• The Game is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Game.
