We collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve the gameplay experience:

• Account & Profile Information: When you register or update your profile, we only collect your email address, account password, and climber nickname. Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are encrypted and handled securely via Supabase.
• Game Progress & Scores: Information related to your in-game performance, stair climb records, and achievements is stored to maintain leaderboards and account progression.
• Social Interaction, Friends List, Online Status & Push Notifications: To enable multiplayer matchmaking, provide the lobby experience, and deliver friend invitations or in-game updates via push notifications, we process your favorite friends list, incoming friend/climber requests, and online status. Your online status is only visible to players who have mutually added each other, solely to facilitate game matchmaking. Push notifications are sent only with your explicit device consent, and you can disable this permission at any time through your device settings.
• In-App Purchase Data (No-Ads): When purchasing digital upgrades like “No Ads”, we never collect or store payment card details. All billing is handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store; we only receive an anonymous purchase token to unlock features.
• Device & Usage Data: We may collect non-personal technical identifiers such as operating system version, device model, and general diagnostic crash logs to improve stability.
• Advertising Identifiers: If third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob) are enabled, they may collect advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements in compliance with applicable platform rules.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To create and authenticate your player account.
• To store your game progress, settings, and profile changes.
• To facilitate real-time multiplayer matchmaking and lobby connections with other players via friends lists and online status information.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical bugs or performance issues.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations and official app store policies (including Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and related distribution platforms).

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers essential for game functionality:

• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication infrastructure.
• App Store Platforms (Google Play Services, Apple App Store Services, Google AdMob): For app distribution, core OS platform integrations, crash diagnostics, and optional advertising services.
• All data transmissions are encrypted using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

4. Account and Data Deletion

You have full control over your personal data:

• You can request the deletion of your account and all associated player data at any time directly through the in-game Settings menu or by contacting us at nextxpstudios@gmail.com.
• Upon receiving a deletion request, all personal identifiers, email records, and profile details will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.

5. Children’s Privacy

Run the Stairs is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take immediate steps to delete such data.
